INNOVATION POLICY AND HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT IN MANUFACTURING
(0) Innovation is a most significant policy to win the global competition for both national and private sectors in this knowledge driven economy days.Accordingly, the advanced countries set their innovation policies at the beginning of 21st century and have put into practice since then.The basic idea in order to implement innovation is introduced, where Human Resource Development (HRD) in manufacturing is a key of success.The manufacturing experts have to develop and manufacture high value added artifacts/products which can satisfy both demands for high profit making and natural environment conscious.For that, Converging Technologies (CTs) can be a basic method and its practical use for assessment criterion is introduced.When these innovative R&D results are put into business, it should never be forgot that to protect them by the latest Intellectual Property Right (IPR) and Industrial Standardization (IS).The manufacturing HRD must be corresponded to these new trends.
