INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT:AN EFFECTIVE TOOL FOR GHANAIAN POLYTECHNIC STUDENTS AND INDUSTRY

　　Industrial attachment is increasingly becoming an essential component of the educational preparation for the contemporary undergraduate in the polytechnics.A well-prepared industrial attachment provides the Ghanaian polytechnic student with an opportunity to understand many of the academic things that cannot be learned in the classroom.It is widely accepted that the quality of industrial attachment to a large extent, depends on three stakeholders, namely-student, academic institution and organization/establishment-regardless where the industrial attachment is delivered.Industrial attachment, therefore, has a practical value of providing a fundamental framework to help create an effective bridge between theory and practice.
