Cultivation on practical and innovative abilities is one of the most important trends on the reform of advanced engineering education.Based on the construction on the elaborate course of Manufacturing Technique Basic Training (MTBT), cultivating the practical and innovative abilities of modern college students is presented.Then, the MTBTs teaching system, construction ideas and experience are systematically discussed from its course content, teaching methods and innovation training.The teaching experiences for many years indicate the constructions on MTBT are reasonable and effective.
