EXPLORATION OF INCREASING ABILITY OF ENGINEERING PRACTICE TO MECHANICAL MAJOR STUDENTS
This paper is focused on the analysis of insufficient of engineering training of the mechanical major students in our school.An innovative training mode of 4+2 is introduced, which includes a fundamental training for 4 weeks and a comprehensive and innovative one for 2 weeks.In the latter,students completed a propositional work independently under the guidance of teachers, such as the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of Non-powered Sliding Car, Electricitypowered Direct Sailing Boat, Spring-powered Car Hitting Bottles and Handicrafts.The training process in the form of competition is organized and the results of the competition is one of mechanical manufacturing engineering training course assessments.In this process the engineering consciousness and understanding to machine design and manufacture are enhanced and reinforced, as well as the practicing and thinking independently and innovative ability are improved for students.
