REFORM OF TEACHING BELIEF FOR METAL TECHNOLOGY COURSE
The science and technology is developed at top speed as entering into the 21st century.One of the main tasks of the advanced engineering education in our country is how to train senior technical and managerial talents with innovative consciousness and abilities.Therefore, the teaching method and teaching belief of the advanced engineering education in our country have been changed in recent years.The metalworking courses which integrate engineering theory and practice organically not only are acquainted to students with knowledge of engineering materials in common use and the parts machining processes to lay the foundations for students to study other related courses and to go in for mechanical design and manufacture work, but also play an important role in fostering students comprehensive engineering quality and innovative consciousness.In order to achieve the goals of these courses and to adapt to the studying characters of the present student groups, the system of the course content, teaching mode,teaching method, teaching medium and even the school teaching language all need to be reformed at the right moment.In this paper, a brief summarization of the reform and practice on the teaching belief about the metalworking courses is given in order to exchange ideas and make progress together with colleagues.
