REFINING AND RESEARCH OF PHILOSOPHY IN ENGINEERING WISDOM
(0) The Introduction to Industrial System is a foundational course of engineering for Tsinghua students, offered by the Fundamental Industry Training Center of Tsinghua University.This course involves different industrial systems-machinery industry, automobile industry, electronic industry,building industry, energy industry and chemical industry etc..These industrial systems are the accumulations and quintessence of humans wisdom in the past hundreds and thousands years and they contain a large number of sagacious philosophies, which can be found almost everywhere; and describe the important elements of philosophy all the time.In addition, if these philosophies, concealed and hidden in the systems, can be extracted and used to teach and inspire students, it is definitely beneficial for students to improve intelligence and develop thinking.This paper aims at how to find and extract philosophy in the course of Introduction to Industrial System and then knowing of the engineering connotation and wisdom at a higher level and understanding the engineering wisdom based on a deeper connotation; it just makes a primary exploration and study.The improvement on philosophy cognition can not only be good for students for mastering various knowledge of industrial system, but also be good for them to master the right methodology of knowing the world, which is full of wisdom.
