STRENGTHENING THE CONNOTATION OF ENGINEERING EDUCATION TO EXPLORE HIGHER ENGINEERING EDUCATION MODE REFORM

  In recent years, engineering education research has emerged as an intemationally connected field.Considerable investments have been made to make engineering education more attractive.Now,improving the preparation and training of engineers is viewed as a critical factor to solving major engineering challenges in sustainability, and future changes in engineering education should be guided by research on expertise and the learning processes that support its development.This paper contributes to the exploration on the training mode reform in connotation of industrial training,innovative practicing teaching structure, and curriculum construction based on engineering training center of southwest university of science and technology, which help us to understand how students view engineering practice, and can provide guidance into student responses to course features.It turns out that the efforts can allow students to construct deep conceptual knowledge, and to engage in a number of authentic engineering projects.Curriculum-level instructional design processes can well adapted to the goals of cultivating senior engineering technique talents under this new training mode.
