JOINT LABORATORY ESTABLISHED BY UNIVERSITIES AND ENTERPRISES TO PROMOTE ENGINEERING PRACTICE AND INNOVATION EDUCATION

　　The paper analyses the significance of the cooperation between universities and enterprises of establishing joint laboratories for cultivating students practice ability and innovating spirit.By introducing the experiences and the results achieved from engineering training center of Shanghai Jiaotong University in establishing joint laboratories, the operation mode of how to play a role efficiently in practice teaching reform and practice base establishment is discussed in multiple perspectives, which involves practice project design, general education courses, engineering practice competition, cooperation of research projects and teacher training, so as to promote engineering practice and innovation ability education.
