Study on Characteristics and Nurturing Conditions of Killer Mobile Application Developers
Mobile application (app) & Appstore born from Smartphone environment are changing our daily life rapidly.Compared with PC based SW industry,app shows new possibilities in terms of SW development,distribution and making a profit.The app industry is an interesting study field because it is the new space where creative designers and developers can survive independently.In order to understand the characteristics and development environment of app,this study was carried out as follows.First,in order to understand the structure and characteristics of the app industry,all apps were divided into six categories and the characteristics of each category were analyzed.Second,developers capabilities which are required for the development of app in each category were investigated.Third,the state of the art of the app supply and demand market environment is scrutinized.In addition,required functions of ordinary app development and necessary conditions of killer app development are examined.
