Poverty and TANF Program in the U.S.
Poverty is a complex issue in the world today.In the United States,poverty is widespread and affects citizens from many backgrounds.There have been programs and policies designed to combat this immense issue,but they have been accompanied with a myriad of questions and problems.The issue of poverty in the United States has the potential to impact the lives of the majority of its citizens.This paper reviews the poverty concern in the U.S.history,and brings to light several concerns,such as how it is measured,how it is handled at federal and local levels,and its consistent effects on different groups,specifically women and children.
