Time-temperature Characteristic of Epoxy Asphalt

  The viscosity temperature and viscosity time relationship curves of epoxy asphalt were gained from Brookfield rotation viscosity test and the time-temperature variation law was analyzed.Taking advantage of Arrhenius function,the isothermal viscosity curves of epoxy asphalt were studied through regression analysis and viscosity prediction model was achieved from empirical formula.The model was applied to simulate isothermal cure and compared against experimental data.The results indicated that the epoxy asphalt exhibits obvious time-temperature characteristic and the Arrhenius viscosity model can effectively predicate the viscosity variation law of epoxy asphalt under the constant temperature condition.
