The impact of the stairs to the earthquake resistance of reinforced concrete frame structure

  In order to study the mechanical performance and the overall performance of the reinforced concrete frame structure with stairs under the earthquake action,this paper uses SAP2000 to model the reinforced concrete frame structure with and without staircase,calculate elastic seismic response of the models by response spectnm method and bottom shear method.The results show that the stairs have significant influence on the seismic lateral stiffness,vibration mode and internal force of frame beam column of the reinforced concrete frame structure.
