Use of Microwave to produce Charcoal
The vegetable coal is a fuel produced from wood (biomass) and what has physical,chemical and mechanical properties that make from the vegetable coal a sustainable alternative for the iron ore reduction in blast furnace in the world completely.The microwave technology for carbonization is recent and there are already some studies on the economical viability,as well as the use of the liquid and gaseous by-products that are produced in the carbonization.From series of standardized samples,one proceeds to the carbonization of these samples and they characterize them,as shown by chemical analisys.It is waited that the use of electric energy is viable for the wooden carbonization for microwave oven and that the same thing is an alternative for the iron ore reduction.
