In 2012 a new milestone in the field of wire rod production will be set at ArcelorMittal Ruhrort/Germany.The new leading edge rolling mill incorporates several new technologies such as the individual drive technology for wire rod blocks but also the advanced 3-fan technology for controlled cooling at the loop laying conveyor LCC(R).The most modern concept of the wire rod rolling mill together with its outstanding operation advantages in comparison to conventional solutions shall be introduced.Further superior recent enhancements by SMS Meer will be introduced to update rollers on available solutions to follow the todays and future demands of the markets.
