　　The dominant power of leading the world steel industry was established in the United States with the help of the invention of Bessemer converter and Open Hearth Furnace in the middle of 20th century,which enabled the mass production of steel.In 1960s,Japan started to lead the world steel industry by adopting new technologies such as BOF,Continuous Casting and Computerized Automation of Facilities.
