Research on the Formation and Restriction of Foaming Slag in Torpedo Pot

摘要：

　　Confecting dust and mud conglomeration with carbon reducer in dust and mud containing iron,which can self deoxidize.The dust and mud pellets will be warmed-up by the residual heat in torpedo pot,and then self-deoxidization processes of the pellets carried out after accepting the hot metal.Ferric in dust and mud can be recycled,which will not affect steel-making.This method has been widely used in Ansteel.Recently,a few foaming slag was found in some torpedo pot which affected the routine.We summarized the reasons of the formation of foaming slag and the restriction methods through both theory analysis and experiments.
