Mechanical Characteristic and Application for A New Type of Mult-roll Mill--8-h Mill
A new detailed mechanical properties of multi-roll mill are Proposed In this paper: ① cast steel structure for the overall rolling-mill housing,great rigidity,and the overall weight of the rolling-mill housing is only about 0.54 times to one of the six-h roll mill; ② great rigidity of the rolls,the rolling force is ┛ ┗ type distributed in the vertical and horizontal direction,make for stable rolling; ③with AGC hydraulic control system; ④with small diameter of rolls,low investment costs and quick gains; ⑤with a special roller mill adjustment mechanism for the strip flatness control,taper work roller can be traversed online,the middle roll is axial dislocated,and the backup roller is multi-point supported; ⑥ with good cooling and lubricating systems,multiple export purging units,so the steel surface is smooth and perfect.The working condition and application of technology of this type of multi-roll mill are also discussed in this paper.This type of eight-roller mill designed by CERI has completely independent intellectual property rights.
