Study on the Application Conditions for Anticorrosion on the Low-Frequency Magnetic Field of Water Treatment

  The application conditions of anticorrosion with the low-frequency magnetic field for water treatment were studied.According to experiment of magnetic treatment on the main drainage returning water of Baotou Steel,the effects of the magnetic field intensity,magnetic frequency,velocity and the filling ratio of steel wool on the corrosion rate were analyzed.It indicates that the magnetic treatment could change the properties of aqueous solution and other substance it contains,thereby,change the corrosion resistance.Moreover,different application conditions will result in different anticorrosion effects,and it is even possible to cause negative effects under inaptitude conditions.This study highlighted optimum conditions of the low-frequency magnetic field,tending to achieve the non-chemical anticorrosion purpose.
