Numerical Simulation of Gas Flow and Cooling with Spraying in a Desulfurizing Tower
A model of heat and mass transfer using Euler-lagrage method was established for the process of fluid flow and cooling with spraying in the desulfurizing tower of gas.Numerical simulation was completed on the platform,FLUENT.Distributions of velocity,temperature,pressure and species were obtained.The mechanics of heat and mass transfer was analyzed.The numerical results showed that the design of desulfurizing tower could meet the engineering requirements of drop in temperature and pressure.The numerical simulation technique could provide engineering design with accurate predict and guide optimum design.
