Thermodynamics of Calcium Treatment on High-alumina Steel

摘要：

　　In order to know the cause of high-content aluminum steels SEN clogging in the CSP process and propose the solution of this problem,the steel composition and inclusions before and after the calcium treatment were analyzed.The results showed that CaS and high-content CaS inclusions are the main causes of the clogging.In this paper the thermodynamics was used to draw the Al-Ca-S equilibrium diagram.The sulfur content in steel should be controlled less than 0.0020% in order to prevent the formation of CaS.
