The experimental research on the improvement of deep-bed sintering permeability
With the development of sintering technology in recent years,the bed thickness is increasing.However,the bed permeability is exacerbated with the increase of bed thickness,and the benefit of bed thickness,therefore,isnt apparent.This disquisition expounds that the technology of supporting sintering is propitious to the improvement of sinter-bed permeability.The pot grate test has been actualized in Technical Center of TISCO.The result of the test indicated that the effect was the best when using the support plate of 350mm height,which brought several benefits such as the obvious reduction of bed shrink,the improvement of utilization factor by 15.2% and the melioration of sinter metallurgical property.The effect of industrial experiment is analogous to that in the lab.
