Development of Plate Roller Quenching Technology
Roller quenching machine,with high cooling intensity and cooling uniformity,is key equipment in plate heat-treatment.Cooling system is based on the mechanism of oblique jet impingement heat transfer.Key technologies are analyzed through industrial testing and numerical calculation,including plate core cooling rates,heat transfer coefficient,and surface hardness of quenched plate.The results show that for plate of thickness 50mm,core average cooling rates is greater than 12℃/s,and quenched plate surface hardness f is uniform,where the deviation of maximum and minimum is 5.13%.Test results provide theoretical guidance for development of new plate products and process technology.
