Study on Sintering Experiments with Indonesia Vanadium-bearing Titanomagnetite

  The sintering pot experiments with Indonesia Vanadium-bearing Titanomagnetite were carried out to investigate the effects on sintering process for certain sintering plant.The results show that: while the proportion of Indonesia iron ore is less than 15%,the strength of sinter has little fluctuation; further increasing its proportion from 15% to 45%,the drum index is decreased from 66.22% to 48.44%,declined by 17.78%.With the increasing of Indonesia iron ore,the utilization coefficient and the sintering speed decrease gradually,the yield ratio of sinter declines from 83.9 % to 80.1 %,RDI+3.15 drops to 58.2%,about 10% lower than base experiment.Under the condition of sintering production,it was concluded that the proper proportion for Indonesia iron ore should not exceed 15% in sintering.
