Development and Application of Expert System for Operating of Blast Furnace No.5 in WISCO
The expert system for the blast furnace NO.5 in WISCO has been developed based on the blast furnace expert system(BFES) used in blast furnace NO.1 in 2009,some new functions,such as the visualizing function in the adjusting of stave temperature,controlling the top gas distribution,some new rules used for controlling the burden distribution and the maintenance of the inner profile of blast furnace,have been included into the new expert system compared with the expert system used in blast furnace No.1,such new functions in new expert system are suitable for the operation of blast furnace No.5,the development for the new expert system has been finished,the BFES was used since June 2010,and the operation of blast furnace No.5 became more and more stable,productivity and coke rate are improved,now the productivity is about 2.6t/m3.d,coke rate is about 330kg/t.hm.
