The Present status of long-product rolling technology of China

摘要：

　　In China,production of long products account for 45~47% of domestic total steel product production.Great achievements have been made in technology and equipment for long products like rail,large/medium-sized H-shaped section,merchant bar and wire rod products.The cross looping rolling process and equipment have been replaced by universal rolling process for continuous no-twist micro-tension/no-tension rolling at high speed.The BF-converter-caster-mill route has been adopted successfully in China as the combination between the high-efficient merchant bar & wire rod mill and the high-efficient converter-caster line,beneficial to rapid growth of steel production.
