High Quality Rail Development at Pangang
In order to meet Chinas railway development,Pangang innovated its rail production equipments for steel making and rolling,and built a world-class rail universal production line in 2004,so that Pangang became the first Chinese manufacturer who can produce 100 m length of rail.To meet the requirements of high purity,high dimensional accuracy,high flatness and high surface quality of the high-speed rail,the steelmaking process,universal rolling process,H-V compound straightening process and other key processes were studied,so that the rail internal purity,section size accuracy,straightness and surface quality improved significantly.On this basis,a series of rails were developed successfully,such as 350km/h high-speed railway rail,60D40 and 60TY high-speed switch rails,PG4 and PG5 heavy haul railway rails,60D40 and 60AT heat-treated turnout rail and export rails,and widely used in domestic and international high-speed and heavy haul railway.
