Dynamic Modeling of Rolling Mill Based on Thickness and Flatness

  The dynamic model of cold rolling mill based on strip shape and thickness control was estabished in this paper,this model contained the following submodels: the rolling process model,the transverse dynamic model of rolls,the static coupled model of the strip and rolls.Based on the principle of dynamic conservation of material flow,the dynamic rolling process model was built.Considering the dynamic characteristics of the rolls along axial direction,based on Timenshenko beam theory,the transverse dynamic model of rolls was built.Based on elastic plastic mechanism theory,the coupled model of the static elastic deformation model of rolls and the static plastic deformation model of the strip was built.Then,according to the inner relationship of these models,coupled them together,the dynamic model of cold rolling mill was built.And the dynamic simulation of the rolling process was made based on this dynamic model,and the dynamic thickness and the dynamic flatness information were obtained.This model provides theory basis for the virtual rolling,and provides platform for the application of advanced control theory.
