The affect of flow field on the growth of dendrite
We use model alloy succinonitrile-x %( mass fraction) and water as the experimental subjects,the experimental study is about the effect of the flow field on the dendritic morphology and the law of dendritic growth.The results show that the primary dendrite forms a certain angle (approximately 10 degrees) inclined upward growth; when the model alloy model alloy solute concentration (at.%) for the 2%-6% range,the primary dendrite arm spacing and the logarithm of dendrite length assumes a linear relationship; secondary dendrite arm spacing doesn’t make any changes with the coagulation time; in the solidification process, the flow velocity change is a first-order exponential decay with the dendrite growth; in the dendrites of the same length,the alloy model alloy solute content (at.%) the higher the slower the velocity of the flow field.
