Determination of Fe,Si in Titanium alloy dissolved by two methods by ICP-AES

  A method of determination of Fe,Si in Titanium alloy dissolved by two dissolving methods by ICP-AES was reported in this paper.The spectral interferences deriving from the basic element and coexistence elements in Titanium alloy in the determination of Fe,Si were investigated,and then the analytical lines of Fe,Si were selected.Different temperatures were studied in dissolving Titanium alloy samples by Sulfuric acid,the respective detection limits of the two dissolving methods were determined.The precision and accuracy test were carried out.This method is accurate,rapid,and convenient to determine Fe whose content ranges from 0.01% to 1.0% in Titanium alloy,and Si whose content ranges from 0.01% to 0.5% in Titanium alloy.
