Voidage distribution in sintering layer

摘要：

　　The layer of the sintering cooling process is a typical packed bed,in which air flow through sintering layer.Voidage distribution in packed beds has relationship with the flow pattern and characteristic of heat transfer in gas-solid flow.However,it is difficult for us to measuring the voidage of sinter layer in the sintering process.In this paper,cross-section method is used to measure the voidage of sinter ores in different standpipes.The results show that voidage increases as the diameter of standpipes increase,and the voidage distribution has little relationship with the particle size of sinter ores and the height of standpipes.Finally,a fitting curve between voidage and the diameter of standpipes is given in the paper.
