New Technology of Refractory for Repairing Converters

摘要：

　　A water bonded magnesia self-flowing castable used for repairing front and rear bedding face of the converter and a remote control shotcrete technology for repairing side wall of converter are introduced.The industrial experiment results indicate that the developed castable leads to smokeless and half sintering time and 4 times of the service life.The new remote control shotcrete technology is expected to replace the traditional method of manual dry gunning repairing of converter’s side wall and would be an efficient resolution of traditional intensive labor and poor gunning repairing quality.
