Research and Development of the High Strength Steels for Car Bodies
This paper reviewed the development and research high strength steels including the conventional high strength steel(HSS) and advanced high strength steels (AHSS) for use in the automobile industry,and summarized microstructure and mechanical properties characterization of some kinds of the automotive high strength steels,such as NANO Hiten steel,DP steel,TRIP Steel,TWIP steel,TBF steel,TAM steel,Hot Stamping steel and Q&P steel.AHSS steels are considered to be the major materials for future applications in this production sector.
