Research and Application of Approximate Rectangular Section Control System of HSM and CSM

  As the goal of high precision section of silicon steel production,in this paper,the concept of approximate rectangular section control (ARSC) is put forward,the principle and method of ARSC is designed,and the whole control strategy of ARSC is developed.The achievement of ARSC technology is applied in the automatic control system of hot strip mills (HSM) and cold strip mills (CSM) after the industry practice.Firstly,by the variable crown shifting in upper stream stands and limited shifting for schedule free rolling in down stream stands of HSM,the hot strip coil which has stable crown and limited wedge,local spot and single wave is suitable for cold rolling.Secondly,by the strategy of work roll shape and shifting,intermediate roll shape and shifting,work roll bending and intermediate roll bending combined the flatness control system of 6-high CSM,the approximate rectangular section which improved accuracy of silicon steel strip is obtained.
