Silicon Steel of WISCO and the Demand of Chinese Electrical Industry
The history of WISCO silicon steel was briefly introduced in this paper.Over the past 38 years,WISCO made great progresses in producing silicon steels.Either for grain oriented silicon steel or grain non-oriented silicon steel,the product performances were improved as the production scale expanded.A new production process was adopted to produce conventional grain oriented silicon steel,which is different from the introduced technology.The requirement of the silicon steel for the Chinese electrical industry was presented,such as the transmission and distribution transformers,large-scale power generator,mid-small sized motor and micro sized motor.
