The Development Patterns of Remanufacturing:the Nine-in-One
Remanufacturing has its own unique pattern of development,which including nine sub-modes,i.e.the target mode,the dynamic mode,the commercial mode,the organization and distribution patterns,and the manufacturing and technical models.The remanufacturing of any product or industry is the organic combination of the nine sub-modes,namely,the nine-in-one.The target mode requires achieving the batch restoration of function or recovery of new condition,hence,the life of the product reached its limit.The dynamic mode is the pursuit of the industrial chain co-existence and synergistic innovation.The organizational model comprises four paths,i.e.the manufacturer-led,the retailer-led,the third-party logistics dominant and the cooperative organizations.The distribution pattern is mainly divided into three categories,namely,distributed type,concentrated type and combination.The three aspects of the commercial model are operation model,business model and profit model.The manufacturing model only focus on two main dimensions,which is,the modular production aim at parts,components and their functions,and the cloud manufacturing specific to full product and function service.The technology mode includes Size Repairing Method,Method of Component Replacement and Upgrade Method.Different selections and combinations of the nine sub-models for different products or industries will lead to different industrial behavior,structures and efficiencies.
