Influence of the Incorporation of Organic Matter in the Retention of Pb, Cr and Cu Cations in Soil

The addition of organic matter in soils has been extensively studied with regard to retention of metal ions in order to remediate contaminated soils. The objective of this study was to evaluate the incorporation of organic matter in soils to predict their retention of Cr,Cu and Pb cations in order to apply vermicompost as a soil remediation. In short,it was concluded that in the experiments of adding organic matter, adsorption was higher upon compared to individual soils.
