Deformation Mechanism of Polypropylene During Rolling Process and Its Tensile Properties
In this work,internal structure and molecular orientation of polypropylene were investigated in order to consider the plastic deformation mechanism during rolling process.Tensile properties of rolled polypropylene were also investigated.Spherulites were extended along the rolling direction in the vicinity of exit of the rollers.In this direction,molecular orientation increased.As the results,the tensile strength of rolled polypropylene increased along the rolling direction.
