EVALUATION OF A NOVEL ENERGY UTILIZATION MODE IN MICRO-CCHP SYSTEM

  Combined cooling heating and power (CCHP) system can reach a high efficiency in energy use,but there are still some problems restricting the maximization of energy efficiency in micro-CCHP system.In this paper,a novel energy utilization mode is proposed to maximize the energy efficiency of micro-CCHP system.In this mode,the exhaust gas heat is recovered by two stages.A double effect LiBr-H2O absorption chiller (DEAC) and a thermoelectric generator (TEG) are introduced into the first stage while a condensing heat exchanger (CHE) is introduced into the second stage.System model is built and analyzed.A case is studied with a 16 kW internal combustion engine (ICE) and a comparison between the results and reference data is conducted.Results show that,the energy utilization mode proposed in this paper can obviously improve systems energy efficiency.
