ADSORPTION COOLING SYSTEM USING GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON/R134a PAIR
An adsorption cooling system using granular activated carbon (GAC)/R134a pair has been designed and built based on the adsorption characteristics of the pair.The system was experimentally driven by heat source temperatures below 100℃.The coefficient of performance (COP) and the specific cooling effect (SCE) of the system could be reached up to 0.18 and 70 kJ/kg of adsorbent,respectively at driving source temperature 90℃.
