THE APPLICATION RESEARCH OF THE 5MM DIAMETER INNER SCREWED COPPER TUBE USED IN INDOOR COIL OF THE AIR-CONDITIONER
In order to reduce cost and increase heat transfer efficiency,one effective method is to use 5mm inner screwed diameter copper tubes to substitute 7mm or larger diameter copper tubes in room air-conditioners.This paper introduces some ways of employing 5mm diameter copper tubes to substitute 7mm copper tubes in commercial ultra-thin low static pressure duct air-conditioner.We use the simulator to compare both of the two kinds of copper tubes and optimize the number of the branches of the refrigerants circuits.The results show that with the use of 5mm inner screwed copper tubes,the size of the indoor coil will be decreased by more than 22% and the manufacturing cost will be decreased by more than 36% when keep the number of the copper tubes.
