Study on a Rotary Compressor for Household Refrigerator
A new rotary refrigeration compressor is introduced,which could be widely used in refrigerators and air conditioners.The structural characteristic of the compressor is double-loop intersection type.There isnt any mechanism that changes the rotary motion of the electric motor into reciprocating motion of the piston in the new compressor,but the swivel motion of the piston is directly driven by the electric motor.Compared with the traditional reciprocating compressor,it possesses simpler structure and lower cost.The reciprocating inertia and vibration are less than linear compressor which is popularly studied now.The thermodynamic performance of the compressor is calculated with refrigerants R134a.The results show that the rotary compressor has a higher efficiency and economy,and it has a widely applicable capacity by using the optimization of the energy regulation and exhaust structure.Therefore,it is an ideal compressor for Household Refrigerator.
