Effect of Air Inlet Condition in the High-temperature Generator Using Exhaust Gas
When engine exhaust gas is used to the absorption chiller-heater,energy efficiency can be increased up to 75~90% and the coefficient of an absorption chiller-heater can be improved significantly.To investigate performance of the high-temperature generator using exhaust gas in the absorption chiller-heater,a Lab.scale high-temperature generator using exhaust gas was designed and setup.In this study,the inlet condition of exhaust gas was changed in orderto analyze the performance of the high-temperature generator using exhaust gas in the absorption chiller-heater with operating conditions.As a result,as the air mass flow raterises,the separated steam increases from absorption liquid in the high-temperature generator for high concentration condition and its increment is reduced.However,the increasing rate of separated steam gets bigger when the inlet concentration of absorption liquid at the high-temperature generator is 54% and 53%.That phenomenaoccurs at the air inlet temperature of 200℃ whenthe inlet concentration of absorption liquid of 54% and 53%.
