Condensation of Refrigerant Mixtures HFO1234ze(E)/HFC32 in a Multi-Port Tube
This study investigated the condensation of zeotropic refrigerant mixtures HFO1234ze(E)/HFC32 in a horizontal multi-port extruded tube experimentally. The test tube has 17 rectangular mini-channels of 0.85 mm in average hydraulic diameter.Experiments are conducted in the mass velocity range of 100 to 400 kg/(m2·s) and at dew point temperature 60℃.The measured heat transfer coefficients of the HFO1234ze(E) /HFC32 mixtures are compared with those of pure refrigerants of HFO1234ze(E) and HFC32.The heat transfer coefficients of mixtures are lower than those of HFO1234ze(E) and HFC32 in case of G = 100 kg/(m2·s),while the difference in heat transfer coefficient between pure and mixed refrigerants is not observed in the conditions of high mass velocity. The pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics of test mixtures are also compared with previous correlations, and these data agree well with correlations for pure refrigerants expect data at G = 100 kg/(m2·s).
