Environmental Performance of refrigerants in RAC from a National Perspective
Methodologies were demonstrated to evaluate the environmental performance of some typical refrigerants in residential air-conditioner from a whole countrys perspective,and case studies of Japan and China using these methodologies were conducted and compared.COP and cooling/heating load at different outdoor temperatures were calculated and the results were utilized in TEWI calculation considering climatic regionalization.In addition,how energy structure and customers habit in using room air conditioner would affect TEWI was analyzed.Meanwhile,weighting methodology and its distance-to-target principle were also introduced briefly,as well as their important application in refrigerant selection.
