NET ZERO ENERGY BUILDING:REASONABLE PATHS TO APPROACH
Various energy supply systems for buildings have been widely considered for potential net zero energy building (NZEB),in which high efficient HVAC systems have been driven by renewable energy from solar/wind or biogases.A net zero energy building could be also possible with energy production if enough renewable energy could be used,without consideration of cost.Recently passive buildings integrated with renewable energy have been focused of research interests.There are different paths to yield net zero energy building,the design should consider deeply on local climate conditions and also resource conditions.Based on various successful examples of energy system,a net zero energy house has been demonstrated in Shanghai Jiao Tong University.The passive design of energy efficient,solar collector system,HVAC&DHW system,indoor terminal units and renewable energy power system of the building are introduced briefly in this article,particularly the concept of the energy system.
