Seam Tracking Monitoring Based on Molten Pool Infrared Images

摘要：

　　Visual sensors can be used for monitoring the welding seam and seam tracking,but it is difficult to acquire the deviations between the laser beam spot and the weld seam from the images because of the strong disturbances caused by spatters and plume.An extraction method was developed to detect the deviations between the laser beam spot and the weld seam during high power fiber laser welding.Laser welding experimental results showed that the deviations could be detected accurately,and the proposed method can be used to monitor the seam tracking status.
