The Influence of Yunfu Pyrite Mine Tailings to the Water and Peanut of Downstream
The purpose of this study is to ascertain the influence of Yunfu pyrite tailing pond to the downstream in Yunfu City,Guangdong province (South China).So 13 trace elements from water,plant and root soil samples in this area were detected by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Atomic Emission Spectrometer (ICP-AES).The elemental characteristic in water and soil,correlation coefficient of elements in soil and the relation between peanut and root soil are analyzed.The main results show that:(1) Cd in water exceeds Environmental Quality Standards for Surface Water,China,level Ⅲ and Standards for Irrigation Water Quality,China; Cd in soil exceeds the background values of Guangdong and China for at least 28 times; (2) In soil,Sr,Pb have significant correlation with Mn and Zn,moreover,Sr and Pb have significant positive correlation with each other; Cu,Fe have significant correlation with Ni,V and Ti,Cd,respectively,Ti and Cd have significant negative correlation with each other,Ni and V also have significant positive correlation with each other; Mg has significant correlation with Sr; and Zn has significant correlation with Pb; (3) the variation trend of content of elements in plant and soil are the same.And Mg,Zn,Cu,Ni and Cd can be considered as the characteristic elements in this place.
