PGE mineralization in the Main Zone of the northern limb of the Bushveld Complex

　　The recent discovery by Platinum Group Metals (PTM) in 2011 of PGE mineralization in Main Zone rocks under cover,north of the surface exposure of the northern limb of the Bushveld Complex presents a significant new and exciting discovery.Reported grades of 3.5 to 7 g/t over widths of ~5m occur in harzburgite and pyroxenite zones in a dominantly gabbronorite package 30-250 m below the Main Zone-Upper Zone boundary.This mineralization might be related to the northward expansion of the northern limb by a primitive magma intrusion in MZ times.
