Synthesis of Hollow Silica Nanospheres by the Intermolecular Interactions within Amphiphilic Block Copolymer Micelle Templates
In this work, hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles (HMSNs) have been successfully synthesized in a facile route using PS-b-PAA and CTAB as co-templates at room temperature. The shell thickness of the synthesized HMSNs could be tailored by changing the addition rate of the silica source, and the poperties of these nanoparticles were then characterized by using XRD,N2 adsorption-desorption analysis,TEM and UV-vis analysis.Furthermore,Doxorubicin (DOX)-loaded HMSNs (DMSNs) show an effective drug loading and a pH-responsive drug release property.
