Effects of Plasma Treatment on Hydrophility and Cell Adhesion of Synthetic Nanofibrous Mats

In this study,we investigated the effects of plasma treatment on hydrophility and cell adhesion of synthetic nanofibrous mats.SEM,water contact angles measurement and MTT assay were employed to compare the hydrophility and cell adhesion between plasma-treated poly-L-lactic acid nanofibrous mats (PLLA NFS Plasma treated) and untreated PLLA nanofibrous mats (PLLA NFS).The results showed that plasma treatment is an effective method to improve hydrophility and biocompatibility.
